1% risk in real money terms

RiskSEO

Saying “I risk little” without a number is self-deception. 1% of 5,000 is 50. If the stop is 25 pips and each pip at your size is worth 2, lot math falls out directly — adjust numbers to your reality; the method is the point.

SafeCandle’s risk tool sketches the skeleton: balance, %, stop in pips, pip value. Pip value depends on pair and contract; treat defaults as educational.

If the lot is microscopic, good: you respect the account. If it is absurd, the stop is too far for the risk — skip the trade.

House reminder: education, not advice. Risk capital only.
